It is an evening like no other writer for the composer and performer since Mireille Bouchard presents his first solo album, The dancer astronaut. It is a mini album of seven songs she has written in a context a bit surreal, providing a single bill teintée a very touching poem that unbridled. You may be known within the Arkane duo, originally from Saguenay Lac St-Jean and that made the day rooms of its region.ÂÂ
For several years already, it occurs alone, its new refining equipment and ensuring the collaboration of several people in the trade, including the author and composer Yves Décary musician who served as co-producing the album with Using Laurie Ouelle, multi instrumentalist and longtime friend of this dear Mireille. The latter also emphasizes the fact that the album which is 9 inches by 9 inches was illustrated by Josiane Fortin who made a true work of creation as well as songs from the album.
On stage tonight, she has several songs from the album with the help of Jean-François Déry (bass, bass), Laurie Ouelle (ukulele), Serge Capistran (guitar) and Denis Cliche (percussion). It also installed at the piano the time to play the piece that I really appreciate very much. The hardware is very nice, the texts are tasty and the music often draws in the world of the circus or fairgrounds.
