Now we have taken taste, see all of these classifications that finally smell of objectivity is very pleased.
This time we talk about a genre that is much more easily placed in the sales charts than “quality” means the Pop. This classification clearly shows that you can pop perfectly made without necessarily falling into the banality of the music pre.
To broaden your search, I also included the albums labeled as “contemporary r & b”, I have excluded the “soul” and the songwriters who probably deal with classifications separately. Top of the list is of phase two albums “pop” of the Beatles: “Revolver” (1966) and “Rubber Soul” (1965), while the third could not surely miss the masterpiece of the Beach Boys “Pet Sounds” ( 1966). Not only’60s pop, the 4 are rightly Prince with “Purple Rain” (1984) and 9 the king of pop Michael Jackson in “Thriller.” Italian pride instead for Franco Battiato, high in the standings (to 14) with “La Voce Del Padrone.” After the jump, as usual, we show you some of the positions. The complete list (top 1000) find in this page of RateYourMusic.
NB this is a dynamic database, some positions are set to change in the future, the ratings range from 0 to 5 but it is impossible to give less than 0.5.
