Would say “fortunately the worst fashions usually last just” thinking about the wave “emo” that three-four years ago invaded the market discography. Fortunately, today some fringe and some melodies sung on sugar from third elementary refitting are slowly disappearing.
Among the groups symbol of the second (or third?) Wave of “emo” (without doubt the worst) had them, Panic At The Disco (then still with Panic! At The Disco). Their debut album, “A Fever You Can not Sweat Out” (2005), has sold about 2 and a half million copies and has made thousands of crazy teenagers all over the world through sound unpretentious, fun, accompanied by a theatricality not indifferent, and I must admit that “The Only Difference Between …” (one of the many individual extracts) remained for a long time in my mp3 player. Last year he published “Pretty. Odd. “, An album too pretentious for their capacity (even inspired from” Sgt Pepper “), also received lukewarm from the public (about 700,000 copies).
Just a few weeks ago Ryan Ross (guitar) and Jon Walker (bass) has left the band. This is despite the publication of the third album from the title and date to be determined. Meanwhile, however, is already what should be the first single, “New Perspective”, which will be present in the soundtrack of “Jennifer’s Body”, the new horror film with Megan Fox. You can listen to “New Perspective” after the jump.
