Green and mountainous make beautiful Saint Lucia

The construction of many villages has made the green and mountainous Saint Lucia Caribbean one of the trendiest destinations for adventure travel holidays, but the island is far from an aseptic development. In this tropical paradise are still bananas, and tourism, the main economic resource. Much of the landscape is rural: small coastal fishing villages give way to a hinterland with banana plantations and coconut trees, hidden in deep valleys, whose slopes are covered sumptuous cloak of the jungle. This rugged terrain continues into the sea, where diving enthusiasts will find an underwater paradise made of mountains, caves and steep slopes. But the most suggestive adventure travel Saint Lucia is located in the south, where the two twin volcanic peaks of the Pitons rise

dramatically from the coast, with their characteristic shape. The promenade is dotted with sheltered bays and beaches where you can relax in solitude (or enjoy the sunset in two, of course) The journey St Lucia has two airports: the Hewanorra International Airport in Vieux Fort, located in the remote southern tip of the island, and Vigie Airport in Castries, near the main tourist area. The international flights land at Hewanorra, while the interior of the Caribbean often stop at Vigie. Most of the visitors considered more convenient to book a flight to Vigie. You can fly direct to St Lucia from New York, Miami, Toronto, London and fly mig Suriname. Express des Iles operates an express catamaran service between Castries and Fort-de-France, Martinique. If you arrive on the island by boat, you can complete the customs formalities at Rodney Bay, Castries, Vieux Fort and Marigot Bay. Marigot Bay is the place where such practices are simpler, since we are moored in the inner harbor and reach the office of customs with a spear. Cruise ships calling at Castries Harbor. The main carrier between the Caribbean islands, Liat, has flights between St Lucia and Caracas as well as daily nonstop flights to Vigie Airport from Antigua, Barbados, Dominica, Martinique, St Vincent and Trinidad, and connecting flights from other cities included in lines served by Liat Caribbean. The passengers leaving St Lucia by air have to pay a boarding fee of EC $ 27.
