Dimmu Borgir – Mustis and Vortex out of the band!

September 1st, 2009 Peter

The Norwegian band Dimmu Borgir has never been trained very stable, but the news of the “hunting” Mustis and Vortex really leaves us speechless!

Well yes, apparently the keyboardist Mustis (born Øyvind Johan Mustaparta) and bassist / vocalist Vortex (Simen Hestnæs) have really left the band and, according to statements by the first, things did not go very friendly. It appears that Mustis has complained a lot about recording the songs he composed and how these, in the credits of discs, were not attributed to him. This has created, according Mustis, a “wall” between him and the other band members, who have never given weight to the words of the keyboard. The thing was in the air and then, after receiving a text message with the word “goodbye”, Mustis realized that was no longer welcome at home Dimmu Borgir.

For their part, the remaining four members of the band have issued an official statement that it is not clear enough sterile absolutely nothing about this decision, focusing instead on the next record of Dimmu Borgir and the continuation of the same without Mustis and Vortex.

In short, a story that surely will not end here, because the good Vortex has not yet expressed in this matter … we’ll see!
